I like long walks on the street...

Here are some shots from a walk I went on the other day.  My wife had asked if I could find and photograph a yellow and/or teal door.  Amazingly, I found one of each to help decorate our new apartment!

Rohde Family Photos.

This past weekend, I had the privilege of taking some family photos for the Rohde's!  I took their daughter's senior pictures earlier this fall and now had the opportunity to work with the whole family.  They are a wonderful family and I hope to get to work with them again soon!

Kayla and Nic Engagement Shoot.

Earlier this afternoon, I did an engagement shoot with the wonderful Kayla and Nic at the Guthrie.  They were extremely entertaining and incredibly fun to hang out with.  We got some great shots taking turns running indoors and out so we didn't freeze.  -10 degrees just seems immoral.

I'm really excited to continue working with Kayla and Nic and cant wait to shoot their wedding this May!

JHP + Appendicitis = No More Appendix

Hey All,

After waking up Friday morning with incredible stomach pain and writhing around the apartment until the early afternoon, Michelle took me into the E.R.  It was good timing too, cause my appendix needed to be removed and had thankfully not yet ruptured.  The doctors were wonderful and a number of great friends came by with lots of love, dvds, and Chipotle.

I'm resting now but won't be able to shoot for a while which is a huge bummer.  Stupid heavy cameras.

Thank you to everyone for their prayers, love, and support.

Your favorite appendix-less photographer,

Jonny

I finally decided to start a JHP blog for friends, family, and potential clients to stay updated on current projects as well as to see the consistency of my work.  My website, www.jhpcollection.com has been completely redesigned, so go on and check it out.

Yesterday, I had one of my last senior photo shoots of the season.  Brittany and I went around Excelsior, MN to the almost frozen Lake Minnetonka and to some other local spots.  It was cold as all get out, but for being December 1st, it was just nice to have some sun.

Thank you Brittany for letting me take your senior photos!  It was awesome working with you and the pictures turned out beautifully.

For the Juniors out there, it's not too early to start booking for your Senior photo shoot this Spring!  Please contact me at jhpcollection@gmail.com to set up a time and to reserve your spot!
